Spring Break!!!

Since I usually blog about two weeks at a time I thought I would continue the pattern. We took a week off of HOD because the following week Daddy is on spring break and I didn't want to split up a unit. To correct it we had a fun week of just the 3 R's before our break and our trip and will start back with unit 15 when we get back to our regular routine!

March 14-18

We did light school for this week :) Here is an outline of what the kids did.

Ian: 

Calendar, math games, a keyboarding lesson, 2 pages of TRL, sight words, some handwriting, and just reading books!  

  

Ally and Audrey: 

Piano practice, one keyboarding lesson, 2 math lessons, create a pamphlet about the book they read, and we did some of the writing assignments from R and S. 

   

Highlights of the week: 

Play date at the park with fiends!

Library story and craft time! This usually falls during piano lessons so it was a treat! 

Baseball, softball, and dance!! 

March 22-25

We spend the week in Kansas City which is about 6 hours from us. We have never been and decided it would be a fun family vacation spot for spring break. Here is a run down of a few places we visited:

A cinetopia theater where we sat in leather recliners and are a meal! 

Legoland Discovery Center

Crayola Cafe and store

Sea Life Aquarium 

Union Station

Science City Museum

A visit in Springfield, MO to see my Nana and a surprise visit by my cousin!!
