Daddy was in charge of school this week, so there are no pictures! However Daddy is a history teacher so he enjoyed teaching the girls about George Washington!
George Washington was the history focus for the week. In those lessons the girls learned about horses and mixing colors for fireworks in science. Math was spent measuring, they loved it! They are reading Tornado and liking it for reading. Spelling was on ow words and we will have to work more with Audrey on those. They liked the poem and did well in copy work and both learned their verse for the week.
The girls liked having Daddy home and he has two more weeks off! He said that lessons went well and they had fun and he likes our choice in curriculum. He didn't do all the extras that I do during the week but he hit all the basics and boxes in the guide! Yay!!
The kids had lots of outside play time and art as well as music. It was a gray week!
Mommy is easing back into our new routine and hopes to be back in full action in a few weeks! We are still learning each day though!
