Goodbye and Hello

Goodbye 2013 you have been pretty good to us and we hate to see you go but hello 2014 and all the new and wonderful things you have in store for us!

Here are a few highlights of last year for our family:

Audrey was baptized
Ally lost her first tooth
Ian started speech therapy for articulation and is excelling
Both girls finished kindergarten and started first grade
The girls can ride bikes without training wheels
Ian turned 3 and Ally and Audrey turned 6, they had a big joint pool party to celebrate
We started our 2nd year of homeschooling
Paul finished his 10 year of teaching and started on 11
Paul and I celebrated 12 years of marriage
We found out we were expecting a new bundle of joy
The girls read a total of 625 for the year
The kids started attending a homeschool co op once a week
Ally and Audrey played soccer and started piano lessons
The girls had a sleepover with their great grandma and cousin
Lisa stopped babysitting other than drop ins for friends
Belle the cat turned 11
We lived in our house for 10 years


Here are some things we are looking forward to for this year:

Meeting Emersyn due March 5th
Finishing up first grade and starting 2nd grade
Ian starting preschool and playing T ball
The girls second season of soccer
Celebrating 13 years of marriage, the girls turning 7, and Ian turning 4
Making new friends
Letting the girls try new classes and lessons
Lisa is ready to get back into her exercise routine
Paying off credit cards and hospital bills
Belle will turn 12
Looking forward to new ways to challenge ourselves and ways to serve the Lord

I am sure there will be many more new and exciting things for 2014 and we cannot wait! Thank you Lord for blessing us in 2013 and we pray that those blessings continue for 2014.
