February 27 - March 3, 2017

Monday:
Ian did well on his math today. He is fighting off a cold and allergies so his residing was a little weak.  He was getting whiney so we stopped for the day. He did listen to to his history lesson over national parks.

A and A had a very busy day! They did some research on the French tricolor as we read about the French Revolution. We also leaned about Pasture in science, took a language test, and xoveeed new skills in math. They also had some dictation, bible, art, and music to do.

Tuesday:

Today we had our co op classes and the girls piano lesson. The kids also had a lesson on car making when Pawpaw helped them design and cut out their cars for our upcoming AWANA Grand Prix. Daddy got to stay home with the youngest two who had nasty colds that we did not want to spread to our co op friends.

Wendesday:

Ian did a fun experiment where we had to see what dissolves in water like salt. We wrote some numbers and played with magnetic phonics tiles.

The girls are learning the hard way to listen and follow directions and to write neatly. If they chose not tooo then they have to redo their work which they hate!

Thursday:

Ian had a great day!! I let him eat some peppermints as he worked to help focus his attention and it seemed to work!

The girls seemed to have a better day as well and everyone was done. Y noon with school!!!

Friday:

Ian did so well on his math quiz!!! He is not fast at his facts but is learning them! He also had fun rhyming in his journal and drawing.

The girls both passed their book 5 math books with a great grade on their tests! Their written narrations were also done very well and neatly.
This little toot wanted to do some school too! We played her favorite game and then did someone in "her journal" as she calls it! She is into drawing people.
