The VanEvera's September 24- 30
It is hard to believe that today is the first of October!! It is such a busy but fun month at our house. All three kids will have their 1/2 birthdays, Paul has his birthday, my Nana will turn 80, my sweet niece Roree will turn 2, my youngest nephew will be 1, we have Halloween and a trip to the pumpkin farm, as well as the girls cheerleading clinic and Upward sign ups! That is just what I can remember, who knows what else is on the calendar.
The girls had a good week of school last week and I can really tell that they are both learning. Their reading and writing have gotten so much better and Ally is almost ready for small chapter books while Audrey is catching up to Ally :) We made our library trip and brought home over 20 new books to read either during our library time or for lessons. We are digging deeper into our MFW curriculum and enjoying it. The girls love the art and science lessons! I even taught art to the babies this week and they liked it.
We have Ian back on track from our vacation set back! The gummy bears have worked! Now we are working on getting rid of the paci :( It is much harder with him than with the girls. He is my baby and this will be the last baby thing to get rid of :(
Last week we had family pictures, a baby shower, a trip to Wal Mart in the rain with mommy, a library visit, a date night for Paul and I and a night to play with Nanny for the kids. This week I think we will play it low key and rest a bit more!
