This is part two of a three part series on my miracles...my precious daughters and son.
Part 2: Allyson Faith
On April 12, 2007, the Lord blessed with the second of our first miracles a 7 lb 1 oz tiny little princess we named Allyson Faith. We just like to call her Ally! Ally got her name because I thought Audrey and Ally went well together for twin girls, and her name means noble and kind. Faith, was chosen because it was one of the forces God used to bring her here. She certainly is a kind spirit...she befriends the elderly, gives hugs to everyone, she hurts when others hurts, and always prays with JOY!! My Ally is one of a kind!
Ally is 100% girly girl!! Her favorite things are make up, perfume, jewelry, clothes, and shopping. She cannot go anywhere unless she looks all fancy. I love having my own little shopping buddy in the family, we always have a great time even if we just go window shopping. She has such tiny little features that she truly does look like a little princess. As of now she is growing out her hair, which only started growing when she was 3, to be like Rapunzel's.
Ally is really into reading and writing right now and can even read small sight words and simple sentences. She has the reading bug and as a former teacher I am so happy. She has her own journal and even wrote a book the other night, even though you couldn't tell what it said, she did! I love it. She is such a creative, whimsical, and imaginative little girl. She comes up with elaborate tales all the time of what "her babies" did that day and in true Ally fashion uses her hands in all her tales. Her vocabulary is out of this world...she uses words like entertaining, drizzle, rowdy, fabulous, and much more. I can definitely see her being a teacher one day.
Ally's kindness is also one of her biggest strengths and weakness. She wears her heart on her sleeve and sometimes succumbs to a complete meltdown over something minor, like her not having the right socks to wear to bed. Other times she cries when her sister is trouble or her brother does not feel well. I love her big heart and pray some boy does not break it one day!! Her emotions sometimes get the best of her and when she has a fit, she has a FIT!! They don't happen often, to my liking, but when they do, look out world cause Ally turns into the exorcist character with the screaming and the spinning head!
I would say that out of my three kids Ally is most definitely my empathetic!! I love seeing her make people happy and that in turn makes her happy. She is mine and I love her and wouldn't change anything about her, just maybe tone down a few of her more theatrical tendencies. She is a joy and it is a great honor to be her mother and watch her grow from this little baby turn into a curious and playful one year old, then a two year old chatterbox, to a little three year old diva, and now onto a fantastic shopaholic four year old! God knew what he was doing when he blessed me with her! Just like her sister keeps me on my toes and is always challenging me to be more patient, more flexible, and to be a better overall parent.
Ally-gator, mommy loves you to the moon and back and MORE!!!
