A week of fun!

The VanEvera's March 11- 17

What a great week at our house, leprechauns, outside time, Chick fil a, the zoo, Jump Zone, and a night at Nanny's, and more! You would think we would save all this fun for Spring Break but I guess you could say we started our break just a little early.

With such nice weather it was nice to take the kids for a walk/bike ride. We rode almost 2 miles one day, what good practice for Disney World. Outside play happened every day though a few days the kids complained it was hot so they didn't stay out as long. The longer daylight hours are wonderful because it means extra play time! We even went out to my mom's house for dinner one night because Paul was a school late with conferences and the kids wanted to visit and eat over there, so since I would be getting an extra set of hands with dinner and baths, we piled in the car and headed over.

On Friday, I finished the girls birthday party plans and bought all the supplies for goodie bags and shamrock cookies from Ed's. Then when Paul got home we met some friends at Jump Zone and the kids played for hours. This gave me and my friend Erica some time to run out and get some supplies for a little leprechaun trickery!

Ally and Audrey were really into the whole leprechaun catching this year so I pulled out all the stops. I made sure they wore green to bed because if you don't have on green, there is no way a leprechaun will visit you! The girls built a trap and after they went to bed, mommy got busy on some good ole tom foolery! With each act of mischievousness, Lucky the Leprechaun left a little note and some candy gold. Here is what our leprechaun did!

Dumped all the blocks out in the tent.
Peed green pee pee in the toilet and left "poop" in the bathroom.
Opened the girls dresser drawers.
Threw the girls clothes into the living room.
Moved the rocking chair.
Turned all of the dining room chairs around.

Ally woke us up bright and early Saturday morning and couldn't believe what happened and Audrey was disappointed that Lucky got away and she was also pretty mad she had to help clean up Lucky's mess. We also got to to the zoo to celebrate our little Adaleigh's birthday! Ian was in awe of all the animals and the girls love going to the zoo, especially when Nanny goes! Thank you Mrs. Shannon and Mr. Joe for inviting us.

Now it is Spring Break time and we have some more fun things planned!
