Ian

This post is all about my little guy! He is three so we will do mainly use learning through play but he wanted a binder like the girls so this is what I came up with.

We will use this book to learn to recognize letters.

So in his binder have these things and they will switch each week.

A pattern block page. He loves them! I also have an animal to start with each letter he can make.

Letter cards and a wipe off workbook. I l is he does not have the motor skills yet for writing but exposure is key as is akin it fun for him. He has his own pocket chart set up to use for his letters and shapes.

We will rotate his shapes as he learns them all.

A name puzzle and paint cards for him to practice cutting! He loves to cut so I am glad the samples are free!

I put some books we will read to practice the letter we are learning. Ian loves books and stories.

Wiki stix toad shapes and letters and his own workbook!!!

I also put in an ABC chart that he can use. He likes to point to the letters and sing his alphabet. He loves to use a pointer and do this. I have a big matching one up on his learning wall.

Each week I will change up his work and add some of his speech work and HIPPY work to keep it different and fun. The plan is to do what he can in a day so our binder may last longer or shorter than a week!  I am excited to see how it all works!
