The girls are super excited about this being their last week of school and they cannot wait for our last day surprise!! We working on review skills and assessments for the end of the year. They had alot of fun and seemed to remember everything and that makes me HAPPY! Here is what we accomplished today.

Independent Reading and picking out rhyming words and a quiz over their book
Spelling Game with review Words FUN!!
Bible/History Peter in Jail with a short summary (tomorrow is their last bible story!) We will then make a timeline of what we learned this year using our pictures we have been keeping up with.
Break
We started our addition lap book and did the cover and our ones and two's for review, they love it. These are turning out to be the neatest projects and I am making plans to do more of them next year.
After comparing and contrasting what we have learned this year they wrote a sloppy copy of three things they have learned this year in school. We will work on those the rest of the week and publish them. I will also give them a writing assessment using the same prompt from the first day of school to see how much they have learned!
I assessed their fluency rate and reading! Audrey can read on a level J which is right at the end of first/end of second grade and read 105 wpm on a first grade passage and Ally can read on a M which is the end of second grade and read 125 wpm on a first grade passage. I am so proud of them.

Magic Tree House Read aloud #11 Lions at Lunchtime followed by online games on their website.
