Today is our official last day of school, even though we will keep reading and practicing math and do alot of nature science and field trips this summer!!! I also want to finish up their A to Z art lessons which we only have 8 more of!!!
Thursday we finished up our classwork! We reviewed the last of our old spelling words, each girl read a book and had to answer questions about it in their reading journal, they finished their addition lapbooks, and we did calendar and journal.
We also for a fun end of the day treat we read a book about muffins and made some yummy muffins for snack! Audrey read her 100th book for the year!!!!! I am so very proud of her, she is our reluctant reader because she is not as fluent or confident as Ally but she is a good reader!!
For our afternoon we watched an American Girl movie for history because we could not go outside due to the rain. We will finish them on our trip.
Tomorrow we are leaving for Silver Dollar City where we will have fun but also learn about caves and life in the past!! We cannot wait, it is so much more fun then regular picnic or track and field day in public school!!! It will be educational and fun, that is my kind of vacation!!
