We worked on our AWANA verses and memorizing the books of the Old Testament along with reading the story of Babylon and writing a summary. The girls did very well with their summaries and their handwriting was very neat today!
We also worked on irregular plurals which will be our spelling focus for the week!
In math we are working on addition strategies and vocabulary as well as speed! This is will be our goal for the remainder of the year in math, speed facts for addtion and subtraction. We also played Guess my Number and did our skip counting and other calendar skills.
In our reading we are using animal books to distinguish fact from opinion and will work on that for the week and the girls are already pretty good at it. They each had to read a Raz Kids book and take a quiz today since we did not alot of reading last week.
Last night we did our fine arts for the week with two art lessons and a music lesson from Peter and the Wolf ) Daddy even helped us out by acting out our parts to the music. Today we did Kick it to get fit for our PE!
