We made a lyre with a hanger and rubber bands and played a song like David. Then I let the girls use their recorders to play me a song and then they wrote a song about God! So cute!
We made jewels like Soloman that we will finish up tomorrow and put on a card for their great grandma who is in the hospital.
We played math games for math facts practices as well as our teach me app and computer time. We also worked on fractions as we made muffins for breakfast tomorrow. We listened more to addition and subtraction rock.
We read about Soloman and did our vocabulary and summary.
We worked on comparing words with er and est with the book Pig, Pigger, Piggest. The girls loved it and did very well. This will be our word study focus the rest of the week.
We learned about water power and were going to build a water mill but didn't have all the parts :(
We worked more on drawing conclusions in our reading with charades and a guessing game.
