Today we had another busy but fun day!
We worked on ABC order for language and the girls did well with that.
In word study we built our silent letter words with magnetic letters, something we have not done in a while. I am hoping it will help Audrey slow down and hear all the sounds in a word better.
It is always fun to play with those. In math we finished up lessons 10 and 11 on making tens and then used our addition and subtraction mats to practice facts as well as listened to our songs. Anytime we can not use worksheets is a good thing!
In bible and history we learned about Elisha and Naaman and the girls are now writing their own summaries :) We are also working on our AWANA verses which are quite hard this week but we will get there. We have also been watching The Bible on the History Channel and loving seeing things we have studied in real life.
Ian did some school today and he and I worked on the letter A and used some videos, magnetic letters, and coloring :) He is into letters right now because he loves to watch SuperWhy!
For writing we used our weekly poem to come up with a tongue twister with given words. Tomorrow I will have the girls write their own original tongue twister!
We finished up our lessons on drawing conclusions with readworks and revisited a favorite book Alexander! They love those lessons and are learning and doing well.
