......and boy are we ever ready for this week to be over and it has just started!!! The girls are working very hard to have a field trip on Friday to kick off spring break. They want to go to the zoo or the museum and park and play and I promised that if the weather is nice and they get all of their lessons done before Friday we would go since I do not have any extra kids this week that day.
So today as much as we didnt' want to we buckled down and got to work.
Math: Calendar, skip counting, addition rock, level 1A lessons 5 - 9
Reading: Elijah bible story, familiar reading, new poem, library book, read aloud quiz, drawing conclusions
Word Study: silent letters wr and mb, sorts, rainbow words, phone games
Writing: journal, summary,
Science: how does air keep water out experiment..FUN!!!
Art: Come look with Me and making straight lines
Music: Peter and the Wolf
PE: learning to run correctly and dancing
It was alot for a Monday but now we can breathe easy since we are ahead and take the rest of the week at a slower pace!
