Beauty is in the eye of the beholder! Lately I have been noticing the beauty in many things around me.
Today is such a beautiful day! It feels like spring, the windows are open, the kids are in the backyard playing away, it is my perfect kind of weather day. Perhaps a little litter if we have time I may take the kids to the store and buy them some kites! The girls have never flown a kite before, so it should be a blast!Thank you Lord for such a beautiful day! Your presence is known and felt!
Speaking of beautiful, I think my kids are beautiful inside and out! My sweet little Ian will go up to a crying child and pat them on the back and say "okay?" and before he goes to bed he hugs me tight and pats my back and tells me "I wub you momma, night night." My sassy girl Ally has that same beautiful kindness and empathetic heart. She is always the first one to the rescue when someone is sad or hurt and tries to fix the situation. Audrey is beautiful as well, she takes charge of a room and keeps things going when mommy needs to get things like lunch and clean up done!
My life is beautiful! I am home with my kids plus a few more on some days and I LOVE it! Our bills are still getting paid and we are able to meet our needs with only Paul's income, that is beautiful! My kids are happy and healthy and my husband is too. Belle, our almost 10 year old cat, who is also my first baby, still acts like a little kitten and is as rotten as ever! Thank you Lord for what you have and what you are doing for
us.
Lately even I have felt somewhat beautiful! Well maybe not beautiful but not disgusted with myself. I can look in a mirror and see the positive not only the negative. That is something that has only happened to me a few times in life except for my wedding day and being pregnant. Yes, I think pregnant people are beautiful but no, I am not pregnant. I have pretty much felt beautiful on the inside, especially since God came into my life, but now I can see some things that look okay on the outside and that makes me feel great!
Please don't think I am bragging, but if you want me too I can! I am just stating some new revelations I have made. Beauty is everywhere, not just in the weather or appearances. Beauty is in what you choose to see that makes you happy and feel good. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
