This was a week where we just had too much to do and a crazy schedule in which to get it done so we had to do more than normal school on a Friday! We still tried to make it as much of a Fun Friday as we could though!
The weather has turned cold and rainy so outside time has stopped for the last few days but it looks to be back on for the remainder of the week and most of next week!
Today we finished up our numbers through 20 in our math books. There was alot of tough adding and subtracting this week but the girls did well with it. They even both managed to get 10 or more problems correct in a minute! Our drills are working! We also did our logic links and a fun subtraction puzzle grid/maze! We did it together which made it even more fun!
Today we did some Earth Day activities. Ian birthday is on Earth Day so we usually just focus on him. I read a book about Earth Day and then the girls wrote an accrosstic poem about earth. All three of them colored, cut, and glued an Earth man to hang on the wall. Ian loves getting to do this stuff with the girls!
He is really into cutting and gluing! His new speech teacher has some things like that for him to work on and I cannot wait! I hope he likes her as much as he did his previous one. Now that he will be three, we had to switch providers and therapists but the good thing is that Ian will not miss any sessions! He really is doing well in speech therapy on his last assessment he improved and got some of the sounds he had been working on.
