Today is a little bittersweet for this mommy, it is the last day of school that my babies will be 5! Tomorrow my girls will be six year olds!!! They have worked so hard that they will not have school tomorrow, it is a day of fun totally for them! They are choosing the meals and the activities for the day!!
Today we did alot of reading and working on comprehension as well as alot of math speed practice! If anyone has any ideas on how to increase their speed, please pass them along!!! They can both add a subtract well but they are not fast at it!! I want them to really know those facts so that two digit addition and subtraction will be easy for them! I think we may just focus on doubles and tens for a few weeks and get those really good!!!
We are several days ahead in our history and bible reading :)
