What a beautiful day today!! The girl worked really hard and fast today so they could enjoy the nice weather! In fact for their PE today they were able to ride bikes in the driveway and on the road!!
The girls were also excited that they finished up their bible stories in the Old Testament and their phonics work for MFW! We will now be working with and reading New Testament bible stories. Our phonics/spelling with me on the sh and zh sounds in words like addition, subtraction, and pleasure and measure. I plan on taking two weeks to get this hard skill down!
We are working with subtraction this week in math and will do fact families later in the week. Our science lessons will be over plants and we will sprout a bean later on.
We did our art and music lessons last night and our read aloud for the week will be Magic Tree House #5, Ninjas at Night!
We will work on onomatopoeia in our language lessons and that is always fun!
