I am so proud that the girls worked really hard this week to be off on Friday and Monday with Daddy. We finished up everything we needed to do for the week and got a head start for next week!
We read the book The Little Red Hen and pracited fluency and reviewed charachter in our reading journals. We also did familiar and independent reading and a Raz Kids book.
In math we counted by two's and practiced addition and subtraction skills as well as using our pattern animal blocks to make patterns and count.
For writing we used our story sticker books to write a good five sentence story with good editing! This is hard because they girls think it is perfect the first time and don't see their mistakes but we are working on it. We also worked on past tense words and took a spelling/grammar quiz and both girls passed!! Ally did miss the word floated, she doubled the t!
We finished up all our science experiments with water and discussed those and chose a video for PE.
Now that we have all of our lessons for the week and the start of next week done, we are all going to enjoy a four day weekend!
