We did alot of getting ready and homemade crafts for this night as I did not have time to hunt and print out everything. For our napkin holders and name cards, yes the girls insisted we do this again :), I used purple contruction paper and glued on a yellow paper star and had the girls write the names on them. Simple, effective, cute, fun, and cheap :)
Because Rapunzel is so artistic we did alot of art for our movie night and used it for decoration. They kids drew a nose on a Flynn wanted poster and painted a picture of Rapunzel. I put these up while we ate. Everyone in the family had to write down a dream they had to put in a family dream journal. Super cute and sweet. We also did some jump roping to get some movement into our fun night.
The kids each helped to make part of the dinner. Razpunzel's spaghetti and meatballs, braided hair garlic bread, Flynn Riders' Super Salad, Maximus Apples, and Snuggly Ducking Ginger Ale!
Ian made the Maximus Apples and Fynn's Super Salad.
Ally did the braided Garlic bread.
Audrey helped with the Rapunzel spaghetti and meatballs.
We served our dinner if frying pans and we made our own frying pans to eat on. I bought some $1 black paper plates and plastic utensils and just glued the handle to the plate and presto a frying pan! Here is how our place setting turned out.
Our table set up with food included looked like this.
All of the kids made their own Rapunzel cookie tower :) SO MUCH FUN!!! They turned out really cute.

This time around we did not do as many themed movie snacks because last time we just ate too much junk and we did make cookie towers. We went simple and just had some fat free popcorn! We will be leavning for a mini vacay to Branson in the morning so we will have plenty of time for junk food!
I think our next theme will be more geared for Ian, even though he has love these two so far.
