The girls have officially been in homeschool for 100 days!!!! Today we celebrated the big event with lots of fun and lots of math! Here is a run down of how we celebrated today!
We read a book on Raz Kids about the 100th day of school called The 100th Day of School Project which is a level I and took the quiz. Audrey and Ally both passed ;)
We made a ways to get to 100 chart.
We counted out and stuck 100 stickers! Ian did this one with us :)
We made a chart as we wrote and counted to 100 by 1's, 5's, and 10's!
We counted out 100 pennies and then measured how long they were, they were 74 inches long!
Both girls read a list of 100 sight words
I took each girls picture with a sign that read "100 Days Smarter" and sent it out to family and friends. I also posted it to Facebook with a caption asking to help the girls get 100 likes!
We did 100 things for PE such as hop, skip, jump, push ups, steps, rolls, ect! That was really fun and another great activity that Ian could do with us.
We went around the house and counted 100 different things.
We wrote out 100 words on a big chart!
We also made a batch of brownies and then counted out 100 M and M's to write out the number 100 with as dessert for tonight! I think this was their favorite part about 100's day!
It was a great day! Now we are on to day 101 and counting!
